Default Proxy Problem...

I for some reason can't verify them very well... Using AD, Charon and a number of other programs, I only get around 6 or 7 out of 30,000.

What could be wrong? I've used a number of judges, even got somebody else to verify for me and they still got more hits than me and they used the same judge.

Nope, I'm using SP1... I used to be able to verify all sorts of proxies when I was on dialup, and then something happened and I couldn't do it... Then I got cable, worked well for a while but then it's gone to crap again.

Have you noticed anything along the lines of being able to use non-port 80 proxies, but not port 80 ones? It could be that your ISP is using a transparent cache with redirection (WCCP or whatever), which means that port 80 proxies would be ignored in lieu of the ISP one. Just an idea.

- Try different Judge
- Lower your number of bots
- Are testing against a site? Some sites will ban a lot of proxies
- Re-check your program settings

Report back.

Yep, I've had that problem before and I had no way around it so when I changed ISP's I hoped it would make a difference but now I only get around three port 80's.

1) - I've tried MANY different judges
2) - I've tried a high amount and a low amount, still get the same results
3) - Not testing against a site
4) - Program settings have been altered and then reverted, no luck at all.

Is your own IP correct when testing? My ISP changes my IP occasionally.

Yes, just checked that and it's correct.

Could a firewall be causing this problem?
