P2P = Peer to peer. Who's the other "peer" in this case :P

My problem is this
Whe are limited in our upstream to our provider.
Everytime when I scan with AD, I loose a lot of upstream and already 2 times they blocked my internet connection for broadband " -> YOU GO OVER YOUR UPSTREAM LIMIT"
My provider told me when I use progs like kazaa etc.. ( i don't tell him about AD ) that my PC works like a server.
For this I ask you --> When I scan with Accessdiver, work this like a P2P connection ??
Thanx

Not exactly. AD opens a series of connections that is based on the number of bots that you are running. So, if you have 10 bots, you have 10 source connections occuring at all times. P2P apps like BitTorrent do a similar thing where they open connections to each of the peers that you are down/uploading from. What may be happening is that you're opening a lot of ports quickly and triggering something your ISP is running (IDS, IDP, etc).

My advice? Slow down...a lot. If you only run one or two bots, it looks far less suspicious.

Thanks Sigma, thats a good reply of you
Now I know my problem
I scan all the time with 150 bots
In the first weeks I used 50 bots and one time I used 150 bots
With 150 bots the time for cracked passwords was shorter ( for that I prefered 150) ( I have a combo of 330.000 ????????)
And now this, I think you come from another board, you know to mutch for a newby. I think you are very uick site cracker
Thanks man

One other thing - a combo list of 300,000 is far too large to be working with. You might consider making some category lists base don the types of sites you're hitting. That way, you'll have a more efficient list that will still run well with less bots. Typically, I run with at most 5 bots, and my lists very rarely exceed 5,000 combos.

And to answer your other question - yes, I'm from another board. I've been a member of Securibox for some time now. I also do some of this stuff for a living - it's not just a hobby. :)

Slumming? Just kidding. ;)

Saw the post at SB with the link here and figured I'd check it out. And if I get off my lazy ass (or stop travelling) maybe I can even toss a pass or two in.

Just here to lend a hand where I can.

Yep, good to have more SB studs here. Although I'm not sure sPlico counts ;) But now I will have to be sure I know what I'm talking about before I post replies. hehe
