Where should I start?

Being new to this new exciting world, where does one start to learn the nuances of the trade. I want to start from ground zero and go from there. I visited the tutorial forum and the information there is extensive. I need to be pointed in the right direction. I conider myself a fast learner. Thanks much.

Pick up one of many tutors there, get the tools, and do what the tutorial says. At first, you won't understand, but play and stay on that untill you have some idea how/what does things. Then go on to another.
Also, read through this section. Maybe someone had the same questions as you and we already answered them :)
