It's a great tool but I wish there was a way to get it to do multiple files at once. Just the mere thought of trying to check all my passfiles with it one at a time gives me a headache. It would take an eternity.

I did but that doesn't really tell me much. I removed the definate authx hashes from my merged list doing it that way but because all the files are merged I don't know where they came from so I still don't know what particular files are authx and which are DES.

Yea, but you're gona see that once you do the -show and see none are decrypted, run against hashish and there you have it.

i encountered the same problemo Wick when i merged the pfiles and ran them through hashish...so i copyed all the separate pfiles to the empty My Music folder in My Documents...and just did a xp file search with an authx hash in just that specific folder...turned out some of the pfiles had both authx and des hashes in them...

Um, that file is then all AuthX. As far as i know, there's no mixing of those 2 formats.
What happens when you do a -show on it?

a -show would show the majority decrypted...but youre right i thought it strange too...but only a handful of pfiles had this mix with the minority of the hashes being authx according to hashish.
