Default 200's

When I run Sentry against sites with protection like Pennywize, I set the program to Ban proxies if they return 200 OK's. This of course means that I run out of proxies fast if I use a big wordlist, which means that Pennywize bites me in the ass. I tried C-Force for the first time yesterday and noticed that on auto mode 200's are counted as valid crack attempts. But once a proxy is blocked, won't any combo return a 200?

In other words, is C-Force's auto setting bullshit, or have I just been doing overkill with the 200 ban setting? I'm trying to at least become an educated button pusher.

Well, CForce auto setting is not going to be able to finesse a tricky site. You need to monitor it and see how the site is reacting. Lower bots, etc. Tuning your wordlist would be a good start.
"How do you know I'm mad?" said Alice.
"You must be," said the Cat, "or you wouldn't have come here."

If a proxy is blocked, yes, that one will return a 200 always in general (tho pennywise sometimes doesn't do this, thus you'll always see some 20 or so proxies at least not beeing blocked).
So you infact block proxies on bad phrases, but you later reactivate them when you get to a low enough number in hopes that by the time that happens, some of the blocked ones are again valid :P
Your bruteforcer doesn't hold sessions/cookies of the last attempt, so that helps the proxy to be reactiavated sooner :)

And obviously, if yo have little proxies, you have to use little bots :P
