Default How Do I Copy Drm Movies?, Convert DRM Protected Files to AVI's!! - back4more

How to convert DRM Protected Files into AVI's....

*Unhidden Content Enjoy*

Here is a step by step tutorial on How to Convert any DRM Protected content to AVI...

- Windows media Player 9
- Hyper Cam 2.10.02 Authors Site: hxxp://www.hyperionics.com/
- A Descent Pack of Codec's > http://www.zdnet.nl/downloads.cfm?id=33559
- Patience.

<note>

if you follow these instructions carefully ... then you should end up with a 1:1 Copy of your Protected Content.....but no longer Protected¿

First you may need to adjust a few settings :

* Recommended Screen Resolution [16bit]

* WM-Player tweaks:

CODE
[Options] > [Performance] > [Video Acceleration] , Set to NONE.

Hypercam

*Click on .....[AVI File] Tab.

Set these Settings ....

CODE
Rate in Frames per Second, Record:[15]
Cursor/Full frame capture ratio:[1]
Key frame every:[8]
Video Compressor:Microsoft MPEG-4 Video Codec V1
Frame compression quality:[100%]

Done

*goto the [Sound] Tab

> Select Record sound.

CODE

Sample size: 16bit
Sample Rate: 22050

Done!..

<Also Note:>

Set DRM Protected content to zoom Level of 100% for Optimum quality.

*click the [Screen Area] Tab in hypercam... Select the Area where the Protected content is playing.

press [F2] > Start Recording.... and Press Play on your DRM Protected Clip... WMedia_Player

Wait Till your Clip has completely Finnished .... and Press [F2] again to stop recording...

That's it!...

10 > 15 mins Later you should have a good quality unprotected Movie ready for burning to VCD/DVD ... Sample about 10Secs.. and test before completing whole session

see Attachment next post ....for Hypercam

Ps: a Small Contribution ....

*Works*
DRM WMV > AVI

thanks, i was just searching for a program like this..
it DIDN'T WORK unfortunately :( it seems that the capture program doesn't "see" the played video, i come across a black screen in place of the video when i capture, and everything else in the screen is captured without any problem.. have any suggestions??
or.. does anyone have an old release of virtualdub that can edit wmv files?
