tool that extracts encrypted passes out from your passfiles. here is a the link
hxxp://rhino.deny.de/coy.php.... same function as the potripper. i use this tool coz sometimes -show could be annoying 14.gif if you have decrypted over 100,000 and there is 20,000 left. so i just save the decrypted passfile as combos. rip the encrypted ones , then delete the big old passfile.

here are 3 very useful JTR support tools
1.potripper - extracts undecrypted passes from a passfile
2.saltgrinder - splits salts
3.pothead - gets the single wordlist out of your pot and removes all the dupes
