Problem with proxies

I have been trying to leech proxies with AD and APL, and no luck. 80% of the proxies are timeouts and the rest aren`t anonymous. I downloaded some proxylists from this forum and most of them are timeouts or have very high ping. I am not from US, could that(distance) be a problem?

If I bruteforce with non anonymous proxys, could I have luck, or the server will ban my ip ?

Trying to bruteforce without anonymous proxies is a bad idea.

When you leech proxies, most of them will be bad proxies. The idea is to get better places to leech proxies (leeching proxies from old pages is fail) and to be patient. How many proxies you actually need is based on how long your wordlist is; I generally try to go into action with 100-500 proxies.

The problem with the cracking community is that we're given some of the tools we need but all of the best /proxy sites/exploits/wordlists are hidden from us, as the more popular any given set of information is, the faster it becomes useless. (For example the more people using a given proxy, the faster it becomes useless. The more people using a wordlist with a lot of hits, the faster that wordlist becomes useless as those usernames/passwords are disabled on various sites and the owners of them change them.)

My best advice is to go search for your own information, leech sites, and combo lists on other sites. You'd be surprised the forums you can find googling. Also, keep your eyes open for a program called "Forum Proxy Leecher" as it is very useful for getting a lot of anonymous proxies.

I have a different opinion. Here on Xisp are some very high quality shares! If I had no Idea how to get the tools, proxies, and wordlists on my own I could get everything I need from this site. You see all the share from the password section??? I've had many nights where I got over 100 hits with the same wordlists you can get here! Just pay attention to who is posting. If it's a mod/exploiter/cracker pick it up quickly because it's very good stuff and your lucky it's shared with you.

Also, I've tryed some of the proxies that you use to conect to cracked sites, and it says that is a NO annonymous proxy, I put the script in IE and i see my ip.
